Templ, which is a surprising option between managed WordPress hosting and cloud WordPress hosting, is kind of in-between.
All plans at Templ are operated by the Google Cloud Platform. You get dedicated RAM, but you get a combination of some dedicated resources and some pooled resources for CPU assets. You can get at least 12.5 per cent CPU, but during short bursts of heavy load, you can "burst" up to 100 per cent of 1 CPU.
The theory is that your platform still has dedicated resources, but during brief bursts when you need to scale up your site, it can also cut into pooled resources.
You'll also get features like staging areas, backups, etc as a run WordPress host.
The plans for Templ start at $15 a month for 1 CPU core (12.5 per cent devoted to you and up to 100 per cent burstable), 0.5 GB of RAM and 5 GB of storage.
