The Squid Game has captivated the entire world. However, by mid-November, spectators may have a new K-drama series to look forward to. Hellbound, directed by Yeon Sang-ho, has a supernatural approach in which angels and devils wander.
Hellbound is the world's biggest streaming entertainment service's newest Korean series. It delves into a world engulfed by strange phenomena in which executors from Hell emerge, sentencing individuals to Hell. Following this, a new religious organization known as the New Truth forms in the middle of the chaos, while others attempt to unearth the truth behind the chain of events.
Director Yeon is in charge of creating this new dismal world. It is based on the webtoon 'The Hellbound,' which has been described as "the most shocking piece of work in the history of webtoons."
“From the time when I was working on the webtoon, bringing the story onto the screen was always at the back of my mind,” Yeon Sang-ho says. The director who worked on the original webtoon with Choi Gyu-Seok, author and artist of Songgot, collaborated with Choi once more to flesh out the setting of Hellbound.
This riveting teaser heightens the suspense. Hellbound will be available exclusively on Netflix on November 19, 2021.
